What you will do in your working day
With mentoring and support from us, you will be involved in:
- Supporting the project manager by handling various administrative tasks and ensuring smooth project execution.
- Collaborating with Project Manager to develop essential project management documents, including project budgets, schedules, scope statements, and project plans.
- Managing invoices, purchase orders, and financial documents.
- Project Procurement: They oversee the procurement process for project resources.
- Meeting with project clients to assess needs, define project requirements, acceptance criteria, and timelines.
- Ensuring the team has the necessary resources at the right time.
- Assigning tasks to team members, clarifying expectations regarding project milestones and deliverables.
- Acting as a bridge between the project team and clients throughout the project life cycle.
- Assisting Project Manager in monitoring progress and team performance, providing updates to stakeholders.
- Facilitating collaboration among project team members to achieve project goals and deliverables.
The training you will be getting
Training will be at Doncaster College where you will access a wide range of facilities on offer.
Day release.
You will undertake Construction Support Technician Level 3 Standard.
Construction support technician / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education.
You will undertake Functional Skills for English and/or Maths if needed.
You will undertake both on and off-the-job job training by a team of industry-qualified professionals to give you the best skills, knowledge, and experience.

This role serves as a pathway for those who are interested in a career as a Project Manager.
You will also develop skills required to work in an office setting, working in a supportive environment.
Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a higher-level apprenticeship or full-time employment for the right candidate.
