What are we looking for?

To keep up with the demands of the business we are now looking for a hardworking and proactive business administrator apprentice to join our close-knit team.

Your responsibilities and daily duties include:

  • Undertaking general office duties and admin support to the Director
  • Support with PA duties and diary management
  • Booking and planning business travel arrangements for the Director and Engineers
  • Answering and managing business calls
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars
  • Assisting with Business Development
  • Assisting with Domestic Sales/Customer Service from start to finish
  • Speaking with customers on the phone to arrange site visits
  • Inputting data onto the CRM system
  • DNO Submissions and records
  • Raising purchase orders and ensuring materials are ordered and received to fulfill work orders
  • Regular stock take

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • An effective standard of written English is essential
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work flexibly as part of a small team, but also able to take the lead, be resourceful, and use initiative appropriately
  • The ability to communicate clearly and confidently both within the business and externally with customers
  • The ability to work efficiently and accurately to a ‘required’ and consistent standard
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office
