What are we looking for?
To keep up with the demands of the business we are now looking for a hardworking and proactive business administrator apprentice to join our close-knit team.
Your responsibilities and daily duties include:
- Undertaking general office duties and admin support to the Director
- Support with PA duties and diary management
- Booking and planning business travel arrangements for the Director and Engineers
- Answering and managing business calls
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Assisting with Business Development
- Assisting with Domestic Sales/Customer Service from start to finish
- Speaking with customers on the phone to arrange site visits
- Inputting data onto the CRM system
- DNO Submissions and records
- Raising purchase orders and ensuring materials are ordered and received to fulfill work orders
- Regular stock take

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- An effective standard of written English is essential
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a small team, but also able to take the lead, be resourceful, and use initiative appropriately
- The ability to communicate clearly and confidently both within the business and externally with customers
- The ability to work efficiently and accurately to a ‘required’ and consistent standard
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office
