What you will do in your working day

The Apprentice will support with organising the shipping and export of orders to a global customer base in a busy sales and customer service environment. Proactively, with support handling customer inquiries and ensuring all administration on export is efficient, effective and in line with company’s standard and policies.

Key duties:

  • Assist with processing shipments to a global customer base
  • Preparation of export shipping documentation
  • Support with booking of & liaising with Freight Forwarders
  • Chasing up, checking and storing export declarations/AWB’s to ensure export compliance
  • Assist with responding to Export & Invoice Queries
  • Enter data into internal databases, SAP ERP or CRM tools
  • Other tasks assigned by Supervisor from time to time

  • Self-motivated with attention to detail and ability to multitask whilst working to deadlines
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Open to receiving feedback
  • Good communicator both written and verbally
  • Good team player but also able to work on own initiative

  • All learning delivered online/ remotely alongside role.
