We are excited to offer Assembly, Aftermarket and Test Apprenticeships at our Aerospace Plant based at Bedhampton. These roles will be supported with day release and study time to gain through a fully funded Level 3 Engineering Fitter qualification, whilst gaining valuable experience in the industry.

What you will do in your working day

  • Following our health and safety guidelines
  • Preparing parts for our production line, kits of parts to build products
  • Building our new hydraulic products including pumps
  • Testing our hydraulic products in our test rig environment
  • Repairing our products that are due for service or need repairing
  • Following our standard operating procedures on how to build, repair and test products
  • Understand our quality principles and apply those to work practices
  • Learn our end to end process for supply chain, from stores and logistics to buying and material planning

The training you will be getting

Qualification to gain at the end of this apprenticeship is the Level 3 Engineering Fitter.

Training will be completed at CEMAST at Lee on Solent on a day release basis.  

Additional training support and time to attend other meetings and training that will benefit your apprenticeship is also encouraged throughout the apprenticeship

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Apprentice's will have the opportunity to develop and grow and can either consider a pathway to leading people or technical route.  We endeavour to champion our colleagues to complete further development and will support funding for a degree or Level 4 qualification.
