What you will do in your working day

  • To give support to staff within the setting
  • To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn
  • To effectively deliver the eyfs ensuring that the individual's needs and interests of children in the setting are met
  • To develop and maintain strong partnerships and communication with parents/carers to facilitate day to day caring
  • To ensure the provision of a high quality environment to meet the needs of individual children having an awareness of any disabilities, family cultures and medical histories
  • To be flexible within working practices of the sitting, such as domestic tasks

The training you will be getting

  • On completion of the apprenticeship, you will be a qualified level 3 Early Years Educator
  • The training is within the nursery. With one day a week in a college setting

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Early Years Educator Level 3 can expect to move onto the next level, or move to full-time employment
