What you will do in your working day
- A Mechatronics apprentice will attend college 1 day per week (minimum) where they will develop their academic engineering skills
- 4 days per week our apprentices are embedded within their assigned department’s systems engineering team as they shadow our senior engineers on daily tasks. Each day Apprentices will be working on both legacy production lines and brand-new state of the art equipment to produce and pack the products of world leading brands such as Fairy and Ariel. You’ll broaden your skill set through regular department rotations.
The training you will be getting
Full Engineering Technician level 3 standard, Mechatronics pathway. Qualifications include;
- Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence)
- Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) – Mechatronics Maintenance Technician
- Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)
Training delivered through one day in college at Luckyn Lane Basildon.
