What you will do in your working day

  • Client calling and building rapport with potential customers
  • Liaising with customers on requirements
  • Building client lists for you to prospect
  • You will be working within a team of about 10+ sales executives, building strong relationships with new prospects and converting them into long-term customers by becoming their trusted advisor
  • Building a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales and progressing towards targets and KPI’s set by the sales manager
  • Excellent organisational skills will be essential with the use of our HubSpot CRM platform to manage your prospect/customer relationships, structure your agenda and forecast future business
  • You must have the ability to articulate and build relationships at all levels, aiming for continuous business growth with self-motivation and the drive to succeed
  • Visiting existing customers or potential new clients at customer meetings to build relationships. Usually accompanied by your sales manager

The training you will be getting

Firebrand’s sector-leading Level 3 IT Technical Salesperson Apprenticeship (Level 3 ITTS) trains Apprentices to sell their business’ technical products and services. Apprentices will develop approaches to maintaining good customer relations and winning new business through a thorough understanding of existing and emerging technologies.

Firebrands course is delivered either Online (online live instructor-led), or face-to-face in the classroom environment (your choice). Our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Learning Mentors (LMs) and world-leading trainers prepare apprentices to work across multiple sectors.

Completion of this apprenticeship will provide learners with the following world-class vendor certifications in addition to the IT Technical Sales Apprenticeship:
