What you will do in your working day

Duties and Tasks:

  • Create bookings for customers' vehicles, for appointments such as service, MOTs, issues with their vehicle, recalls etc.
  • Reception calls and speaking with the public
  • Liaising with individuals internally in all different departments, and assisting management when required
  • Explain process and pricing to customers over the phone and ensuring best practice when giving customer service
  • Postal duties such as franking, folding letters and sending post out when requested
  • GDPR compliance with data
  • Edit and update systems accordingly
  • Sign post customers through the complaints process
  • Answer any general questions about the services we offer
  • Complete warranty claims /invoices for things such as safety recalls
  • Log and file paperwork
  • Data cleansing and use of IT Systems, and reporting
  • Emails and admin work
  • Creating and building spreadsheets

Full training will be given in order to complete the above duties to the best of your ability. Steven Eagell Group and Boom Training will provide ongoing guidance and support to help you through your apprenticeship studies.  

The training you will be getting

Level 3 Business Administrator Standard, which includes:

  • Modules covering Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours in Business
  • You'll have a personal tutor to guide you through your training
  • You will attend 1:1 sessions with your tutor every 2/3 weeks
  • End Point Assessment (online)
  • Occasional group classes with other learners
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in maths & English if required
  • Business Administrator Certificate from IFATE and City & Guilds

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Potential progression in the company, all dependent on the business position at the time.

Salary would increase, currently the contact center earns £11.44 per hour, we would uplift it to that be in line with whatever the hourly is at the time.

Also the potential for bonus pay.
