What you will do in your working day

  • Ensure orders are picked/ despatched as per picking / delivery notes
  • Safe loading / handling / unloading of all material
  • Safe racking / free standing of all material
  • Ensure deliveries are checked before despatch to avoid error
  • Recieve goods and check against delivery note, report discrepancies
  • Check goods are packaged in the correct quantity
  • Ensure shelves are aligned and labelled correctly
  • Use Sage software to receive goods / create sales orders and delivery notes
  • Stock taking when required
  • Keep warehouse/shop and w/c facilities clean and tidy

  • Supply Chain Warehouse Operative apprenticeship standard
  • Maths and English Functional Skills if required
