What you will do in your working day

Tidying and Processing Timesheets:

  • Receive and review employee timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure all timesheets are properly organised and filed.

Processing Shifts:

  • Access client portals, calculate and process candidates shift hours, ensuring compliance.
  • Maintain shift records and update candidate schedules as needed.

Credit Control:

  • Assist in monitoring accounts receivable and following up on outstanding payments.
  • Communicate with clients regarding payment issues and resolve discrepancies.

Authorising Timesheets:

  • Verify and authorise timesheets for payment processing.
  • Address any discrepancies or issues with candidates or consultants.

Producing Backing Reports:

  • Generate reports detailing payroll and accounting transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions for auditing purposes.

Payable Invoices:

  • Enter vendor invoices onto the bank portal for payment.
  • Authorise bank payments to vendors.

Generating Invoices and Creating Payment Sheets:

  • Prepare and issue client invoices accurately and on time.
  • Create payment sheets for candidate payments and liaising with Umbrellas.

Weekly GP Report:

  • Compile weekly Gross Profit (GP) reports to monitor financial performance.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on GP analysis.

Ad Hoc Duties:

  • Assist with various finance-related tasks and projects as needed.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to support departmental goals.

The training you will be getting

  • Full Business Administration Apprenticeship Level 3
  • Training will be in the workplace, with no attendance at college
  • Functional Skills in English and maths if required
  • Level 3 Business Administration qualification upon successful completion of the apprenticeship

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Full-time position to be offered to the right candidate upon completion of the apprenticeship
