What you will do in your working day

An average day for the successful applicant would include answering the telephone and fielding calls where necessary as part of a ring group, electronic filing, general admin duties. Throughout the week and through training they will own the following tasks.

  • Purchase Accounts
  • HR - clockcards / hours for payroll
  • Preparing promotional packs when required.
  • Taking ownership of online sales, Amazon, Ebay, website etc.
  • Preparing meeting room and visitor board for guests

The training you will be getting

  • Work towards your Level Business Administrator Qualification.
  • An opportunity to take part in Functional Skills if required.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Crompton Controls would look to offer permanent employment at the end of the apprenticeship should there be a position available and the candidate be right for the role.

Things to consider

The ideal candidate should be focused, have a good work ethic and be able to work efficiently within a busy but friendly office environment. There maybe occasions when work would be off site, at exhibitions/ trade shows etc.

Crompton Controls are well known in the industry as a manufacturer of industrial electrical motor starters and specialist control solutions for Building Management Systems. We have an experienced sales and technical team offering support and solutions along with a full autocad design department enabling us to build to bespoke customer requirements.
