What you will do in your working day

Working Monday to Friday during office hours providing critical
back-office support to the recruitment team helping and supporting candidates with their registration and maintaining the compliance
of existing candidates.

This will involve communicating with the candidates via email, over the phone and face to face.

Initially you will be trained to be responsible for all areas of candidate compliance which includes.

  • Greeting candidates that are visiting to register.
  • Checking candidates’ documents and certificates.
  • Saving documents online and updating internal systems.
  • Applying for online references.
  • Setting up candidate payroll.
  • Arranging online training and DBS applications.
  • Ensuring that all candidates maintain their compliant status.

As you progress you will be trained to take on additional
responsibilities when you are ready including:

  • Processing candidate’s weekly payroll.
  • Signing off candidate applications.
  • Assisting candidates with general enquiries.
  • Assisting Consultants and Managers with their
    administration.

Every day in recruitment is different to the last and you will never be bored.

The training you will be getting

Level 3 apprenticeships

  • Apprentices who have not achieved the equivalent of level 2 in maths and English, must achieve these prior to end point
    assessment.
  • Apprentices will be allocated a Trainer Assessor and training will be planned and delivered in conjunction with the employer to meet the individual needs of the apprentice.
  • The apprentice will spend 20% of their working hours in off the job activities and training.
  • On the job and off the job training will be delivered in the
    workplace.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

As we are a new division within a national recruitment business
multiple opportunities will be presented to the right candidate as
the business grows. Initially the apprentice will be offered a
permanent job as the Office Administrator with potential
opportunities to be a Recruitment Consultant or Office Manager if
this is desired.
