What you will do in your working day
Duties include (but not limited to)
- Reception duties
- Meet and greet visitors (provide refreshments)
- Answering telephones and directing calls
- Dealing with daily incoming and outgoing post
- Filing, photocopying and scanning
- Record and maintain accurate computerised and manual filing
systems - Booking of travel arrangements
- Manage stationery stock
- Preparation of meeting documentation
- Secretarial support using Microsoft office suite (windows 10).
- PA support to Office Manager
- Admin support to Engineers and Directors
- Dealing with customers enquiries and updating their information
- Prepare and produce letters and emails
- Dealing with suppliers and updating their information
- Any other duties deemed suitable to the post
The training you will be getting
- Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
- Apprentices who have not achieved the equivalent of level 2 in
maths and English, must achieve these prior to end point
assessment - Apprentices will be allocated a Trainer Assessor and training will be planned and delivered in conjunction with the employer to meet the individual needs of the apprentice
- The apprentice will spend 20% of their working hours in off the job activities and training
- On the job and off the job training will be delivered in the
workplace
