What you will do in your working day

Duties include (but not limited to)

  • Reception duties
  • Meet and greet visitors (provide refreshments)
  • Answering telephones and directing calls
  • Dealing with daily incoming and outgoing post
  • Filing, photocopying and scanning
  • Record and maintain accurate computerised and manual filing
    systems
  • Booking of travel arrangements
  • Manage stationery stock
  • Preparation of meeting documentation
  • Secretarial support using Microsoft office suite (windows 10).
  • PA support to Office Manager
  • Admin support to Engineers and Directors
  • Dealing with customers enquiries and updating their information
  • Prepare and produce letters and emails
  • Dealing with suppliers and updating their information
  • Any other duties deemed suitable to the post

The training you will be getting

  • Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
  • Apprentices who have not achieved the equivalent of level 2 in
    maths and English, must achieve these prior to end point
    assessment
  • Apprentices will be allocated a Trainer Assessor and training will be planned and delivered in conjunction with the employer to meet the individual needs of the apprentice
  • The apprentice will spend 20% of their working hours in off the job activities and training
  • On the job and off the job training will be delivered in the
    workplace

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Permanent position for the right candidate upon completion of the
    apprenticeship

We are a diverse national company carrying out electrical, data, A.V, fire alarm, and CCTV installations with a reliable, trustworthy, and efficient work ethic. Based in Leicestershire means most of our work consists of reactive maintenance to the local authority, however we still travel across the country for larger projects. We are on the Leicestershire County Council’s approved list for maintenance and are currently the top electrical contractor for them.
