Communication – Often the quickest and most effective way to complete your task is to pick up the phone and call a stakeholder, whether that’s a colleague, subcontractor or customer. We are looking for someone who feels comfortable (or is keen to improve their proficiency) doing this and representing the business professionally. Written communication is also important as you will be writing emails both internally and externally.

Technology – We are looking for someone who is keen to learn new computer systems. We use a number of different solar design and management tools, in which you will be performingadministrative duties and information gathering activities. We use a CRM (customer relationship management) system to manage our customer interactions and have a management system for health, safety and environmental obligations. We regularly use Microsoft Office applications, and as our team grows, we are exploring innovative solutions such as Trello and Airtable to improve our effectiveness and teamworking.

Organisation – Our jobs are projects that involve many steps. Keeping track of multiple projects and where each is up to is an important aspect of the job. In addition to this you must keep track of your own tasks and priorities.
