What you will do in your working day

As guided by the L&D manager, you will be involved with:

  • Sending emails to managers and new starters outling onboarding experience and upcoming courses
  • Assigning and administering eLearning content to employees
  • Booking employees onto upcoming training as requested by themselves or their manager
  • Administering and managing the training schedule detailing the upcoming courses and attendees
  • Sending training invites to employees for virtual or face-to-face sessions
  • Innovating - as your experience and knowledge grows you will be able to make suggestions on how the L&D team can continually improve to ensure our employees and managers have an exceptional experience

As part of the wider People Team in Gi Group UK, you will also be involved in projects and implementation, this will give you exposure to other areas of Human Resources (HR).

The training you will be getting

Initially you will undertake the Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship over 18 months.

The training and tutoring will take place virtually in group and 1-2-1 sessions. Furthermore, you will have 6hrs per week to study and implement your skills gained through the apprenticeship training.

Following completion of the Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship, you will be given the option to continue studying for either Learning and Development Level 5, or Digital Learning Designer Level 5.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Following completion of the Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship, you will be given the option to continue studying for either Learning and Development Level 5, or Digital Learning Designer Level 5.
