An exciting opportunity for a motivated and talented individual to join our team as an Apprentice Web Developer.
The ideal candidate will be able to showcase an understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well a keen interest in digital technology. As an Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced developers, learn from industry professionals, and gain hands-on experience in web development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a user-friendly and responsive website that provides an excellent user experience. This includes ensuring that the website is easy to navigate, that the content is well-organised, and that the overall design is visually appealing
  • Work with designers to translate wireframes and mock-ups into code. This requires a strong understanding of both design and code, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both designers and developers
  • Implement new features and enhancements to the website. This includes adding new functionality, improving the performance of the website, and fixing bugs
  • Fix bugs and improve the overall user experience. This requires a good understanding of how users interact with the website, as well as the ability to identify and resolve problems
  • Develop and maintain internal and external applications. This includes creating applications that are used by employees or customers, such as booking systems, customer support portals, or marketing tools
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in front end development. This requires a commitment to continuous learning and the ability to adapt to new technologies
  • Complete an Apprentice qualification alongside your everyday duties

The training you will be getting

Our in-house experienced learning and development coaches are on hand to give you expert advice, one-to-one support and award-winning training throughout your apprenticeship. Many of our team leaders and managers started their careers as apprentices - so there’ll always be someone there to offer you help and guidance on the job.

  • You will work towards a Level 2 Customer Service Apprenticeship, including Functional Skills in English and maths if required
