What you will do in your working day

  • Getting involved in the design and sketching process
  • Developing skills in Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Revit 3D modelling software
  • Assisting with calculations and other tasks to support senior engineers within your team on the delivery of projects

The training you will be getting

Civil Engineer Level 6 (degree) Apprenticeship Standard:

  • Our apprenticeships allow you to learn whilst you earn as you study for an academic qualification
  • You’ll get the chance to expand your knowledge by attending University of Warwick on block release where you will gain a BEng Civil and Infrastructure Engineering degree
  • Apprentices without level 2 English will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end-point assessment.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Once completing your apprenticeship you will be awarded a BEng in Civil Engineering and may continue to specialise as a Structural Engineer or move into another discipline while working towards chartership with the Insititute of Civil Engineers
