What you will do in your working day

  • Seek out potential leads and market potential customers
  • Keeping good records and notes
  • Updating colleagues appropriately as and when required
  • Respond to leads given by relationships built with third parties
  • Build up rapport and relationships with customers, both old and new
  • On occasion, assist with installs and troubleshooting calls
  • Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches when needed
  • Arrange maintenance sessions to discover and resolve inefficiencies
  • Keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference
  • Offer timely training to teach users how to utilize their IT/ePOS system correctly
  • Help the business grow through face-to-face and social media networking

The training you will be getting

  • Customer service practitioner Level 2
  • In addition to the training provided within the workplace, weekly taught sessions will take place at South Devon College, Paignton Campus to support with the knowledge element of the apprenticeship
  • Level 1 Functional Skills English and maths will also be a requirement for those who do not have the required grades

Things to consider

Will be meeting new and existing customers face to face. Will be ‘on the road’ as well as remote working - combination of office and home at directors discretion.
