What you will do in your working day

  • Working as part of a young, vibrant team, collecting job sheets from the office team and visiting student rental properties throughout Loughborough to inspect, test and diagnose faults.
  • Reporting back to the office and maintenance team , ordering and collecting materials from merchants, scheduling in repeat visits with tenants and concluding jobs through raising invoices on behalf fo the business. We have the opportunities to expose a successful candidate to a range of trade skills based on day to day maintenance and involvement in an ongoing larger scale refurbishment program
  • Given local authority regulations, skills will be developed surrounding compliance requirements (fire safety regulations) working closely with HMO officers, building control and builders along with interacting with a range of other external contractors on jobs
  • There will be a requirement for time management, ownership of both individual allocated tasks and team work projects
