What you will do in your working day

We are looking for an Apprentice Customer Service Practitioner to join our commercial team and assist us with all of our office duties. This role includes:

  • Answering the telephone
  • Booking appointments
  • Data entry onto our customer management system
  • Occasionally dealing with customers face to face
  • Typing quotes / orders
  • Providing general administrative support for the company

Full training will be given on our systems and there will always be someone in the office to help and show you how the systems and procedures work in our business.

The right candidate will be friendly and approachable, willing to ask relevant questions, work well within the team and individually. You will have trustworthy and a honest nature and be confident in a friendly work environment. You will need to be presentable and tidy, have good organisational skills, be punctual and use self-initiative.

  • On the job training to support role development
  • Off the job training to support qualification requirements
  • Employer to allocate dedicated training time for off-the-job training requirements
  • Functional Skills support - (maths/English) - if required

You must be able to get to our office in Ivybridge daily. Must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
