Responsibilities:
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team in day-to-day activities, including lead generation, market research, and prospecting potential clients
- Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide information on IT products and solutions
- Product Knowledge: Learn about our diverse range of IT products and services, staying up-to-date on industry trends and advancements
- Proposal Creation: Assist in the preparation of sales proposals, quotes, and presentations for clients, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer requirements
- Relationship Building: Cultivate positive relationships with clients and internal teams to enhance collaboration and customer satisfaction
- Sales Techniques: Learn and apply effective sales techniques to promote IT solutions, overcoming objections, and closing deals
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and industry understanding
The training you will be getting
- You will receive a training plan that is specific to your qualification, with sessions that are delivered through a combination of face-to-face and remote
- Additional training for functional skills in English and Maths will be undertaken if needed
- You will receive monthly visits from your assigned Learning and Development Specialist, who will set you work, monitor your development and wellbeing, and discuss training sessions. They will also prepare you for your End Point Assessment to gain your Customer Service Apprenticeship qualification
- There is also a five-day teambuilding residential trip that is held in the spring of each year offered to all apprentices on programme
