What you will do in your working day

With a good head for figures and experience of using MS Office, you’ll work flexibly and methodically, supporting the finance team and budget holders across the business with financial planning, reconciliation and invoicing. And the icing on the cake? You’ll have a particular interest in treasury processes.

  • Keep the accounting system up to date by creating and uploading financial transaction journals 
  • Support with monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Support the team with banking transaction processing 
  • Support successful and timely payment runs by checking 
  • Support the team with processing invoices
  • Understand and support regulatory and internal reporting
  • Support teams to collect, categorise and evaluate expenditure data 

The training you will be getting

Apprentices will be required to attend college at least x1 day per week either at Richmond Campus completing necessary mandatory training and units associated with the apprenticeship.

The apprentice will be required to complete:

  • Work towards gaining a full qualification
  • Employment Rights and Responsibilities
  • Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours
  • Standard and End Point Assessment
  • Functional Skills in English, Maths, and ICT (if required)

Other training will be provided by the employer as required to enable the fulfilment of the job role.
