What you will do in your working day
To work as part of a team to provide an efficient audiology reception service.
Tasks will include:
- Reception duties
- Arranging patient appointments
- Dealing with telephone enquiries
- To assist and direct visitors as required
- Ordering and issuing of hearing aid accessories
- Ordering stationery
- Supporting admin and clinical team members
The training you will be getting
- Training will be delivered online and assessor visits to the office, study time will be allocated to you
- You will have a dedicated mentor to support you through your apprenticeship, providing support and advice within the workplace, as well as helping you manage the balance of work and apprenticeship studies
- There may be further opportunities depending on your interests and strengths
- Once completed you will achieve a Customer Service Practitioner level 2 apprenticeship
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- On achieving your qualification you will be eligible to apply for administration vacancies within the Trust
- You may have the opportunity to apply for higher level apprenticeships that are suited to the role you apply for
