What you will do in your working day

To work as part of a team to provide an efficient audiology reception service.

Tasks will include:

  • Reception duties
  • Arranging patient appointments
  • Dealing with telephone enquiries
  • To assist and direct visitors as required
  • Ordering and issuing of hearing aid accessories
  • Ordering stationery
  • Supporting admin and clinical team members

The training you will be getting

  • Training will be delivered online and assessor visits to the office, study time will be allocated to you
  • You will have a dedicated mentor to support you through your apprenticeship, providing support and advice within the workplace, as well as helping you manage the balance of work and apprenticeship studies
  • There may be further opportunities depending on your interests and strengths
  • Once completed you will achieve a Customer Service Practitioner level 2 apprenticeship

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • On achieving your qualification you will be eligible to apply for administration vacancies within the Trust
  • You may have the opportunity to apply for higher level apprenticeships that are suited to the role you apply for
