    Monday to Thursday, 9.00am - 5.30pm and Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm (1 hour break for lunch)

What you will do in your working day

  • To provide medical and general office administrative support to team of clinical scientist and other medical staff on site
  • Appointing patient appointments, sending letters and phoning patients
  • Maintain accurate patient records on all databases
  • Arrange porters to move patients to/from Unit
  • Be the first point of contact for clinical and patient enquiries
  • Take telephone enquiries from healthcare professionals about patients
  • Attend relevant training courses to confidently operate NHS patient electronic records (EPIC HIVE Radiant)
  • Support the member of staff in attendance
  • Ensuring all referrals are dealt with appropriately and efficiently
  • To undertake general office reception duties, both in person and on the telephone
  • Greet visitors and callers, handle their inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs
