What you will do in your working day
- To provide medical and general office administrative support to team of clinical scientist and other medical staff on site
- Appointing patient appointments, sending letters and phoning patients
- Maintain accurate patient records on all databases
- Arrange porters to move patients to/from Unit
- Be the first point of contact for clinical and patient enquiries
- Take telephone enquiries from healthcare professionals about patients
- Attend relevant training courses to confidently operate NHS patient electronic records (EPIC HIVE Radiant)
- Support the member of staff in attendance
- Ensuring all referrals are dealt with appropriately and efficiently
- To undertake general office reception duties, both in person and on the telephone
- Greet visitors and callers, handle their inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs
