What you will do in your working day

If you have Early Years experience and are wanting to upskill to an educator position, then Jollytots have the opportunity for you with this Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship.
They offer an exceptional environment that gives the best early years’ experience to young children in Herts, aiming to provide exciting learning opportunities for children to use all their natural creative skills.
Some duties include:
Supporting a room with babies and children up to 3 years old.
Working as part of a team
Demonstrate policy and procedure as a good role model
Communicate as a team
Show care and compassion towards children
Support child development and pedagogy
Knowledge of SEND
Follow the EYFS guidance

The training you will be getting

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Jollytots will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day. You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes: • Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours • Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator • Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required) This will be delivered through Jollytots dedicated training provider, Realise. Realise is an established training provider that’s enjoying an exciting period of growth following a management buyout and rebrand in late 2020.
