What you will be doing

  • Act as a confident role model for all new team members whilst taking hands on approach
  • Run conferences & events, ranging from small board meetings to weddings - every day is different, and all events are tailored to the individuals
  • Liaise with event organisers to ensure all expectations are delivered and exceeded
  • Work with the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Manage your department keeping it clean and safe
  • Share personal recommendations to spread your passion for service and event delivery
  • Create a fantastic environment for customers and team members to relax and enjoy their event or conference with us
  • Support the management team to deliver consistently high standards

The training you will be getting

Level 3 - Hospitality Supervisor Apprenticeship

  • Apprenticeship standards are aimed at developing skills within the Apprentice’s chosen career route
  • Each standard has set knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be successful within the job role. This will include the completion of functional skills in Maths and English
  • Once the apprentice has completed a minimum of 12 months' training and the employer and Inspiro's Regional Trainer confirm they have met all the requirements of the standard, they will be put through an end point assessment
  • The end point assessment is independent from the training and includes a variety of assessment methods which test the skills and knowledge of the apprentice to ensure they are fully competent in their role
  • Each Apprentice will be supported throughout the apprenticeship by a structured programme of teaching, e-learning, face to face training and workplace mentoring; this will encourage and help them to meet the requirements of the new standards and will prepare them for the end of point assessment

Things to consider

Due to the nature of the business you will be required to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays and will be often be on your feet for the entirety of the shift.
