Working week
40 Hours a week. Majority of hours would be worked between Monday - Friday 9.00am - 6.00pm, this will vary depending on the needs of the business. There may be a requirement for the employee to work unsociable hours at times.

What you will do in your working day
- To assist in the delivery of junior and adult activities
- To assist and deliver activities which are within the Portsmouth Interaction Scheme for older adults who have mental health conditions
- To help assist with sports events in partnership with NGB’s, schools and charity organisations
- To assist in providing a safe, stimulating, and fun environment for all participants
- To interact with children and parents to ensure they are best supported to enjoy the sessions
- To deliver fun, interesting team games during the holiday clubs
- To help assist all teams in outreach events
- To be knowledgeable about and to promote the BH Live Junior Membership offer across all centres
- To always adhere to safeguarding, health and safety requirements and policies
- To attend training as and when required
The training you will be getting
Community Activator Coach Apprenticeship Level 2:
- Level 1 in any sport of choice
- Level 2 in Multi-skills
- Badminton England Coach Activator training (No Strings training)
- LSCB Safeguarding Training
- First Aid Training
- Manual Handling
- Mental Health Awareness for Sport and Physical Activity
- Functional Skills, if required
