5* ABRS accredited Riding School run by National Showjumper John Shaw. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual looking to develop their horse care skills and knowledge. As part of your position you will be preparing horses for lessons and dealing with various yard duties.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

What you will do in your working day
Working alongside their current friendly team, handling a variety of horses. They currently have over 30 well schooled horses, with fantastic facilities including an indoor school, XC course and miles of off road hacking.

John is out competing - British Showjumping - and teaching regularly. Possible opportunity to attend shows.
The training you will be getting
- Equine Groom Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
- All training will take place within the workplace
- Your dedicated trainer coach will visit you at work every 4 weeks
- Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
