What you will do in your working day
Working alongside their current friendly team, handling a variety of horses. They currently have over 30 well schooled horses, with fantastic facilities including an indoor school, XC course and miles of off road hacking.
Duties including:
- Mucking Out
- Turning Out
- Feeding
- Grooming
- Riding
- Lunging
- Clipping
The salary is extremely competitive for the right candidate. Accommodation and own horse kept Free of charge available at this site.
John is out competing - British Showjumping - and teaching regularly. Possible opportunity to attend shows.
The training you will be getting
- Equine Groom Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
- All training will take place within the workplace
- Your dedicated trainer coach will visit you at work every 4 weeks
- Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
