Duties include supporting and engaging with different parts of the organisation and interacting with internal or external customers.

What you will do in your working day
Duties include but not limited to:
- Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided for patients and visitors to the practice
- Deal with general enquiries, explain procedures and make new and follow-up appointments
- Receive and make telephone calls
- Receive repeated prescription requests and ensure that they are ready for collection by the patient within 48 hours, either on the computer or manually, wherever possible
- Monitor the practice appointments system
- Enter and maintain patient information and notes on the computer
The training you will be getting
- You will work towards a Business Administrator Apprenticeship (Level 3) delivered by VQ Solutions
- You'll have a dedicated VQ Mentor and will also be supported internally by your manager
- During this apprenticeship, you will develop a portfolio, attend online workshop sessions and have regular reviews
- All apprenticeship work will be completed during working hours
