What you will do in your working day
PETA are working with Edale to recruit and train a Customer Service Administrator Apprentice to support the Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing teams with a variety of customer support, administration and project management tasks.
The Customer Services Administrator will be responsible for the following duties:
Customer Service:
- Assist the Customer Service team with administrative tasks including but not limited to scanning and filing to maintain ISO 9001 standards
- Answer incoming customer service calls to the office in a timely and professional manner
- Dealing with emails and general customer queries and providing a great customer experience
- Generate letters of invitation for customers visiting from overseas
- Carry out on site hospitality for visiting customers
- Assist with managing the customer order book to ensure orders are on schedule for despatch
- Log technical support cases and enquiries
- Generate quotations for spare parts and follow up on outstanding/pending quotations
- Process dispatches for customers including booking courier collections and generating commercial invoices
- Assist relevant departments with a range of duties as required
Sales and Marketing:
- Assist the Sales and Marketing team with preparation for events and exhibitions, including but not limited to the creation of sample packs, and attending events where required
- Support and management of logistics for internal and external events i.e. arranging events, catering, travel arrangements and presentation materials etc
- Input to and generation of social media for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other channels
- Support with creating a great customer experience for visitors to Edale. Help prepare our customer experience centre, hotel reservations, organise transport and book lunches for customers visiting Edale
- Research and data input of Sales & Marketing campaigns
- Maintain and update the Sales & Marketing CRM with new contacts and updates to contact details
- Outbound phone calls as required to check data accuracy/details i.e. correct contact details
The training you will be getting
Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 15-month apprenticeship which includes 12 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
At the end of the apprenticeship, Edale will be keen to offer a successful candidate a full-time role in a customer service/technical support position. This would be facilitated with the input of Managers of Customer Service & Marketing teams.
