What you will do in your working day

  • Network management and tasking

The training you will be getting

As a Rail apprentice you will be working in London and studying towards a Level 3 Information Communication Technician Apprenticeship. Through our Level 3 apprenticeship, you will develop your understanding of rail engineering from the ground up with the help of one of the biggest and best names in the industry.

The programme will be delivered in partnership with our training provider, Escalla, via a block release delivery model. Delivered at the Escalla training facility at Angel Islington, you will have approximately 5 study weeks over the first 12 months on programme. At the end of the apprenticeship you will go through an End Point Assessment to ensure occupational competence prior to progressing your career with Thales.

The next steps after this apprenticeship would likely be a Telecomms Engineer, Railway Engineer, Telecomms Design Engineer, Installation Engineer.
