What you will do in your working day

  • Data input duties and to assist with the preparation of reports using College Group Information systems
  • Taking telephone and other telecommunications messages
  • To undertake general filing of electronic and paper correspondence for Exams Department
  • Apprentices raise orders via e-request and organise invoices to be paid
  • Supporting others in the office and assisting the team ensuring that all awarding body procedures are met
  • All non-confidential word processing including arranging departmental meetings and taking minutes
  • To assist all staff in preparation of Exam documents (where appropriate)
  • Decision making, problem solving or being able to plan work (where appropriate)
  • To facilitate the use of a Multi-Functional Device (MFD) for Directorate/Departmental staff
  • To assist with exam Access Arrangements
  • To assist with enrolment
  • To support staff in receiving visitors to the Department
  • To actively show a commitment to the Departmental Strategic Objectives
  • To show an active commitment to the College's Equality and Diversity Policy, Quality Frameworks and Health & Safety Procedures
  • To actively participate in Continuous Professional Development including the introduction of new technologies to allow you to contribute effectively to the success of the College
  • To carry out such other appropriate duties commensurate with your skills, knowledge and experience
