What will the apprentice be doing?

  • We have a role developing the framework for colleagues to order and maintain their medical device kit.
  • This includes developing a digital solution to ensure that the right kit is in the right place to deliver the right care.
  • The successful candidate will have a key role in the administration, development and support of the needs of clinical colleagues within the trust and will receive support to develop an network of relationships with colleagues both clinical and support services to enable this to happen.
  • This will be alongside a Level 3 Business Administration Qualification supported by Derby college, with time release for study

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Business Administration (Standard) - Level 3
  • The training will all be on site. The Assessor from DCG will come to your workbase.
  • You will be given a minimun of 6hrs per week to work on your apprenticeship, the format of which can be agreed with your manager.

 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • To increase their skills & confidence so they are successful when applying for a permanent role with the Trust
