What will the apprentice be doing?

End point Assessment is a vital part of all apprenticeships programmes. This is the final assessment of the apprenticeship process which recognises the apprentices achievements throughout their studies. 

  • To support the administration of all aspects of the EPA process
  • To use various electronic platforms to upload apprenticeship evidence
  • To support the administration of the Apprenticeship Service to ensure employers have followed all the necessary steps for the College to claim apprenticeship funding
  • Support the administration of the registration of apprentices for End Point Assessment with the relevant EPA organisations
  • Raise all the necessary purchase orders for EPA and track against invoices received
  • Administer various systems and software
  • Track apprentices due to undertake EPA
  • Upload all the required evidence for each individual EPA apprentice to their required EPA portal
  • Liaise with the relevant Apprenticeship Co-ordinators to advise of EPA upload
  • Liaise with the relevant Apprenticeship Co-ordinator for any required interview, professional discussion, project or exam dates, as soon as you are notified from the EPA organisation, to enable them to inform employer and apprentice
  • Liaise with the relevant Assessor, Apprenticeship Co-ordinator and IQA co-ordinator of achievement grades or required resits

About the employer

New College Swindon has a thriving and substantial apprenticeship provision for around 1,000 apprentices across 28 apprenticeship Standard areas. As an Apprentice Apprenticeship Coordinator, you will have the support of the Apprenticeships team and managers to achieve a Customer Service Level 3 apprenticeship and gain knowledge of how apprenticeships work whilst developing customer service skills to deliver a quality apprenticeship service to employers and apprentices. You must have a full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle. Working with an Apprenticeship team this role will provide an effective and successful customer service to support the College’s Apprenticeship provision. The role is the first point of contact for employers, apprentices and applicants programme, and will provide an effective customer service to meet the needs of these key College customers. Responsible for a caseload of employers and learners in specific sectors, the role will be focused on ensuring effective recruitment, enrolment, on programme experience and successful completion. Working effectively with curriculum delivery staff this post will ensure that all programme elements, including funding, audit and Ofsted requirements, are adhered to, and apprenticeship achievement and funding targets are fully met.
