We are looking to recruit an apprentice who will be studying an engineering course at college once a week (BTEC National Diploma in Civil Engineering) and working for Ground Construction Ltd 4 days a week. Apprentice will attend City of Westminster College in Paddington every Wednesday and work on site in Kings Road for remaining 4 days a week.

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Reading site drawings
  • Learning how foundations are formed and to see slabs and verts being poured
  • Preparation of simple calculations
  • Supporting the administration of the project
  • Meeting agreed deadlines

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Apprentices will attend City of Westminster College in Paddington every Wednesday to gain BTEC National Diploma in Civil Engineering Level 3. Apprentice will also take End Point Assessment with ICE, which will allow them to become EngTech certified. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
