What will the apprentice be doing?
These are some of the day-to-day duties are as follows, but the variety is much greater and no two days are the same.
Duties will include
• Dealing with all telephone enquiries from tenants, landlords and contractors.
• Submitting applicants for referencing and updating applicants and landlords during the process.
• Liaising between tenants and landlords regarding any maintenance issues.
• Assist the lettings team with any other day-to-day administration duties.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
On the Customer Service Specialist level 3 apprenticeship, you will attend activity days at the Leek Campus (college transport is available) spending time with other apprentices. There will also be some industry visits, some mandatory and some optional. In addition, you will be visited in your workplace by your college instructor-mentor who will observe you at work, have professional discussions with you, discuss your progress with your manager/mentor and guide you through your apprenticeship.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
It is hoped the apprentice will progress into becoming a member of the rentals team and complete, in time, other relevant qualifications to the role and industry.
