What will the apprentice be doing?
The following is a list of primary duties and responsibilities. Apprentices are part of a larger CCS at Meadowhall team that the list below is not exhaustive, and they should therefore be willing to help and assist all our colleagues in other teams within the business at any time
•Checking and assisting with the stock-deliveries, monitoring, auditing, display, sale and replenishment of gift cards, accessories, and refreshments.
•Monitoring and replenishment of general resources
• At all times following procedures to minimise loss and ensure health and safety of self and others
•Assist with processing and storage of customer Collect+ orders and returns. Following procedures to minimise loss and ensure the health and safety of self and others
•Assisting with the delivery of specific reception services including the processing of lost property and follow all protocols whilst liaising with internal/external customers and stakeholders
• Assisting in the setting-up and active participation in promotions and events, including moving equipment and assisting colleagues and customers.
•Monitoring of resources and equipment, responding to customer enquiries, booking in customers and moving equipment at the Shopmobility desk.
The candidate will have the ability to communicate clearly and with confidence to customers, retailers and other team members and will demonstrate customer centred behaviours including empathy, sensitivity, patience and respect.
We are looking for a trustworthy person, able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times, with self-discipline and engaging qualities that show Meadowhall in the best light to stakeholders
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The successful candidate will study a L2 Customer Service Practitioner qualification audited by the assessor in the workplace.
If Maths and English is required this will be completed with the assessor before EPA is started.
On the job training in operating systems associated with the Customer Service role. Customer service training. Telephone service and IT/Intranet system training.

Safe Place Training.
Autism Awareness
Sight Loss Awareness
Safe scooter use
Health Safety Risk Assessment COSHH GDPR
Non frontline, security related training.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
To achieve a L2 Customer Service Practitioner service qualification and possibility for the right candidate to stay on as a full time employee.
