What will the apprentice be doing?

·       Undertake various administrative tasks and provide effective support, administration and coordination services for the team by using effective and timely processes.

·       Manage team emails, filtering into the correct mail boxes and forwarding to the appropriate person or team within the Kingspan division.

·       Reply to customer e-mails requesting further project information to allow the enquiry to be processed by an advisor.

·       Research project information on the technical enquiries received.

·       Log/track technical enquiries received on the CRM system to then allow enquiries to be allocated to a Technical Advisor.

·       Provide support and assistance to colleagues on researching projects for technical enquiries received.

·       Produce and format reporting from KICS (u value calculation software) for the business for GB & IE.

·       Support when require, answering overflow telephone calls from customers, accurately recording customers details and communicating with Technical Advisors for a call to be returned.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Formal training is delivered at HWGTA, located in Hereford (HR4 9SX)

You will receive a training plan that is specific to your qualification, with sessions that are delivered through a combination of face-to-face and remote. 

Additional training for functional skills in English and Maths will be undertaken if needed.

You will receive monthly visits from your assigned Learning and Development Specialist, who will set you work, monitor your development and wellbeing, and discuss training sessions. They will also prepare you for your End Point Assessment to gain your Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 qualification.

There is also a five-day teambuilding residential trip that is held in the spring of each year offered to all apprentices on programme.
