What will the apprentice be doing?

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • AAT Level 2 (an industry recognised Qualification) whilst you gain real-time, relevant, work experience.  
  • Delivered via fortnightly, Tutor led group workshops (live, virtual 6-hour sessions) and bi-monthly exams, taken at a local accredited / approved AAT testing centre (location to be confirmed).  
  • You will also complete study, assignments and coursework, and a blend of learning and development activities, all within the workplace.  
  • Please note there are specific start dates throughout the year for AAT Level 2. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

As with any apprenticeship opportunity – if you prove yourself to be a valuable member of the team there could be the potential of a permanent post within the business.

Things to consider

How does the Apprenticeship work? As an Apprentice, you will be employed, just like anyone else at the company, the difference is that you will be studying towards a qualification. You’ll spend a minimum of 6 hours a week (of your total working hours) in a number of different Training, Learning & Development Activities that all develop your Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours in line with your Apprenticeship Qualification. These will include (for example) staff meetings, online courses, shadowing other team members, as well as ongoing coaching and mentoring from/with your line manager. AAT Level 2 and Level 3 (industry recognised Qualifications) are delivered on a modular basis, via fortnightly Tutor led group workshops (live, virtual 6 hour sessions) and bi-monthly exams, taken at a local accredited / approved AAT testing centre (location to be confirmed). You will also complete study, assignments and coursework, and a blend of learning and development activities, all, within the workplace, and will be given ‘Protected Time’ each week to do this - so no homework!! This will all prepare you for your End Point Assessment (EPA) once you have completed all the learning required.
