What will the apprentice be doing?
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Serving customers in-store, over the phone and through the website.
- Working out customer needs from measurements and identifying product options.
- Develop good relationships with colleagues, customers, and sub-contractors.
- Through training, develop good knowledge of our products and services.
- Assist wider team with stock logistics, admin work and operational tasks.
- Work to maintain proper stock control with line manager.
- Ensure company health and safety standard and procedures are upheld.
- Provide outstanding customer service when performing all aspects of the role.
- Within the industry, most job roles including this one, require some heavy lifting. Full manual handling training will be provided, however we ask all applicants are fully comfortable with this.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
A 100% tailored training and assessment program will be delivered to support you throughout your Apprenticeship, (15 months including endpoint assessment) All online delivery over teams/zoom [latforms. Topics covered include –
- Knowing your customers
- Understanding the organisation
- Meeting regulations and legislation
- Systems and resources
- Your roles and responsibilities
- Customer experience
- Product and service knowledge
- Interpersonal skills
- Communication
- Dealing with customer conflict and challenge
