What will the apprentice be doing?

·         Create a welcoming and friendly environment.

·         Strive to resolve customer queries and escalate any concerns appropriately in person and over the telephone.

·         Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

·         Build strong customer and supplier relationships.

·         Develop excellent product knowledge.

·         Assist customers with product selection and confident product demonstrations.

·         Take responsibility for following up on quotes and enquires in a timely manner.

·         Process customer transactions efficiently, accurately and with high presentation standards.

·         Advise the branch team of any information that may lead to maintaining or increasing sales.

·         Assist with social media content and engagement, including updating the company website.

·         Ensure accuracy of all tasks carried out is to the highest of standard.

·         Assist with all branch operational tasks and processes when requested.

·         Take responsibility to ensure the branch cleanliness is always of the highest standard.

·         Ensure that stock is always safely stored and presented well.

·         Monitor stock levels and report promptly where necessary.

·         Assist with duties to achieve high levels of security, and health & safety when requested.

·         Carry out customer deliveries and collections.

·         Assist with supplier price updates.

·         Keep vehicle cleanliness and maintenance to the highest standards as per the company policy.

·         Report any maintenance or repair concerns promptly.

·         Communicate any financial concerns in a timely manner.

·         General Administrative duties
