What will the apprentice be doing?
- Providing a “best in class” customer experience, ensuring that all Infrastructure Sales enquiries are owned through to completion
- Promptly identifying and assessing customer needs to ensure that incoming enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner and achieve satisfaction
- Ensuring orders, sales enquiries and quotations are processed efficiently (checking names/addresses, pricing, discounts, product codes and haulage availability/transport requirements, alongside clear quotation numbers, order quantities etc.)
- Operating as part of a knowledgeable Infrastructure Sales Team, developing skills, experience and understanding of the full “Anderton”/Infrastructure Sales offering and product range, and sharing experiences for the benefit of the entire Infrastructure team
- Collaborating with the Sales Managers and Infrastructure Business Development Manager in order to pass on customer feedback, exchange information and/or resolve enquiries and issues
- Delivering soft sales support, working with the Sales Manager and Infrastructure Business Development Manager to promote stocks and sales opportunities to customers, anticipating needs and maintaining positive relationships
- Working closely with the technical managers to get an understanding of how to read BIM & CAD drawings to offer estimates on products
