What you will do in your working day

The main duties include but not limited to:

  • Quality checking work received to ensure fit for processing
  • Supporting set up of new Client/Underwriter/Third party accounts
  • Working with compliance
  • Managing accounts and invoicing
  • Processing premiums
  • Liaising with customers
  • Credit control and following up of premiums
  • Preparation and assistance with client paperwork
  • Assist with completion of missing data for KPI performance purposes
  • Data collection and input as required

The training you will be getting

  • Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Standard
  • On-the-job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Standard
  • Functional Skills in maths and English, if required
  • Regular work-based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards

Things to consider

Interview - We will be interviewing candidates who meet the criteria as they apply and will recruit after a successful interview which may be before the closing date. Reality Check - You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work. Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work daily whilst waiting for your first wages to be paid. Travel Information - 39 minutes on bus 2 from Park Street, Ashford then a 1-minute walk from the bus stop.
