Hadston House is an award-winning centre in Hadston delivering services to all ages within the community. We specialise in services for the elderly, young people and all ages offering a wide range of services such as lunch clubs, community café, meals on wheels, youth services, holiday activities and advice services for local people just to name a few. We are looking for an all-rounder, the whole team get stuck in to all aspects of the centre, we all support one another and cross service areas. Everything is everyone’s responsibility, this can be answering phones, dealing with queries, using social media, covering if we have sickness with cleaning or supporting any service. It gives the right individual the real experience of what its like to work in a third sector organisations with a small team and get a real feel for how everything works. In return for the effort given we will ensure that all development opportunities are provided, skills and tools given to support you with the apprenticeship qualification. By offering experiences on day to day life across all areas of the organisation this gives great experience of work, offers lots of foundation skills to be used in later working life and gives a real grounded experience to take on into the future. We also have the benefit of having 2 centres Hadston House and Briardale House in Blyth, so the successful candidate could benefit from working at multiple sites to gain additional experiences and we will support travel arrangements for this.
