What will the apprentice be doing?
Key responsibilities: [will include but not be limited to:]
- Work with other members of the team to develop and build relevant skills and knowledge
- Escalate incidents or high-impact problems to the IT Managers, keeping them updated as the situation changes
- Maintaining documentation such as working instructions, user guides and procedures
- Facilitate teamwork by documenting and sharing work practices
- Creating and assigning incidents and requests based on priority to appropriate teams
- Perform and undertake all aspects of support service (triage, telephone calls, voicemails, call backs, mailboxes etc.) to ensure the successful resolution of issues
- Handling incoming calls and undertaking any relevant issue investigation ensuring all key information is accurately captured
You will also:
- Learn to use the company’s IT Service Management Tool to triage incidents and requests to the appropriate teams
- Learn how to investigate and resolve issues for users and systems
- Learn the company security guidelines and monitor emails
