Daily Check List:
- Overnight/weekend allocations

- Morning post & scanning to fee earners
- Daily incoming post email
- Diary deadlines and limitation reminders
- Adding deadlines to calendars once post has been sorted
- Afternoon post
- Chasing initial paperwork & passing file back to fee earner once chasing procedure or signed paperwork finalised
- Will search enquiries
- Scanning and storing wills
- Opening new files
- Copying bundles
- Scanning bundles
- Sorting bundles into lever arch files
- Copying disks
- Printing disks
- Printing records
- Arranging cabinets
- Adobe bundles
- Updating spreadsheets
- Forwarding emails from general inboxes
- Faxing
- Returning parcels and ad-hoc tasks
- Telephone answering - taking brief message and emailing message
Main contact on reception:
- Form completion for any visitors
- Locking up at end of day, putting shutters down
- Weekly fire alarm testing
- Boardroom and meeting preparation
- Boardroom diary
- Keep reception tidy

- Off the job training will be at Oldham College one day a week
