What will the apprentice be doing?
- You will be employed as a permanent Lockton employee from day one and immediately start learning about our business, gaining technical knowledge and guidance from knowledgeable mentors on your path to success.
- You will be fully supported throughout the programme, by Lockton Associates and expert tutors. You will have access to a Coach who is on hand to guide you through each stage of your learning journey, providing you with clear aims and objectives.
- You will attend workshops to develop particular skills related to this programme. These also provide a great opportunity to build relationships with your dynamic community of likeminded talent in the form of other learners, tutors, coaches and mentors. You will also have access to a Virtual Learning Environment with resources and step-by-step support to ensure your success.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
*The following elements will be in a support capacity to more experienced associates*
- Planning, organising and conducting risk based electronic/file audits of the business.
- Loading and maintaining data collected from the audits into the file audit database.
- Analysing and interpretation of results and findings in order that trends can be identified, and observations and recommendations identified.
- To follow up recommendations in a timely manner and communicate to the business and operations team.
- Providing coaching where required to associates to ensure issues identified are rectified.
- Providing support and guidance to the business regarding compliance with best practice.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will work towards your:
- Financial Services Level 3 Apprenticeship.
- Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII).
- Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths (if required).
This will be done virtually through Davies 6 hours per week off the job.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Upon completion of the apprenticeship, you are guaranteed to be offered a permanent position within the company.
