What will the apprentice be doing?

As part of the Office team, you will be required to assist with inter-departmental duties (bookings, compliance, accounts), business development, client engagement and candidate maintenance. You will also be working with software including Excel, compiling data/MI reports, scanning and maintaining accurate records.

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Recruitment administration & bookings
  • Business development
  • Recruitment initiatives
  • Reporting
  • Client and candidate engagement
  • Administrative tasks

You will also be assisting with occasional paid on-call duties as Arcadia is a 24/7 provider of healthcare staff to the NHS and private clients.

 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The Apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in Business Administrator Level 3.

You will receive the following training in addition to the Apprenticeship Standard:

  • Networking
  • Recruitment Initiatives
  • Marketing
  • Data Analysis
  • Social Media Management
  • Events Coordinating
  • In-house training on all company policies and procedures

The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated work-based trainer who will provide support and guidance throughout the course.

This is a work-based programme which means that all of your learning will take place on the site of your employment and within your contracted working hours.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Upon successful conclusion of the Apprenticeship, Arcadia intends to offer you a full-time package with a route to Team Leader working towards Management.
