What will the apprentice be doing?

This new role will be varied and demanding and the main tasks/responsibilities will include;

  • Answering the phone and responding to emails - from clients, suppliers. colleagues
  • Interpreting customer enquiries and designing textile labelling products
  • Setting up CRM files and communicating with customers
  • Managing customer samples and pricing requests
  • Relationship building - internally with colleagues, externally with customers and suppliers
  • General administration support as necessary - filing, updating contact information etc.
  • Assisting with light despatch packing, production and QC checking as necessary

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Full Business Administrator Standard - Level 3
  • On the job training - to support role development
  • Off the job training - to support qualification requirements
  • Employer to offer dedicated training time to support OJT (off the job) training requirements
  • Functional skills support (maths/English) - if required

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • There are potential employment/progression opportunities available upon successful completion of the Level 3 qualification

Things to consider

This role would suit a candidate with creative skills and an interest in the artwork/designing process for textile branding solutions. There will be some tasks assisting with the packing/dispatching of products so there may some lifting/moving of packages
