What will the apprentice be doing?

  • You will be assisting the chef in the smooth running and efficient management of the kitchen
  • You will be deputising in the absence of the chef and seeking assistance/advice when necessary

Specific Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that all dishes are wholesome and well-presented
  • To assist the chef in maintaining a hygienic kitchen and adhere to the cleaning schedule
  • To look after all equipment and report faults/damage to the senior chef on duty
  • To act as an ambassador of Bod Newport at all times, especially on duty
  • To only use safe systems of work and hygienic food practices
  • To report all accidents and log accordingly
  • To establish a good working relationship with colleagues in all departments
  • To respond positively to any reasonable request

At Titanic Brewery, you will be working towards a Production Chef Level 2 Qualification over the course of 15 months.
